  • Naaz

    SINGER/SONGWRITER, PRODUCER

Naaz is a Kurdish independent producer, singer, writer and director from the Netherlands. Growing up in a refugee household, she found escape in writing songs from a young age, many of which are now tattooed on her body as symbols of her freedom.

Teaching herself to write, produce, and compose, she created her first project, Bits of Naaz, in her childhood bedroom. She’s toured Europe four times with her unique blend of English and Kurdish music, earning praise from icons like Elton John and Lana Del Rey. Despite facing industry challenges, Naaz returned stronger, writing in her mother tongue and winning awards for both her music and self-directed visuals.

She has secured a book deal, writing her first novel alongside a brand-new album showcasing her versatility.

She is also well known for her willingness to speak gracefully about sensitive subjects, such as being a musician with autism, growing up in the diaspora, being a woman of color in music, and the art of producing the music she writes.

Known for her versatility, she is ready to mesmerize her audience in her own authentic way.
